Shadow puppetry
南台灣為皮影發源地，因此以皮影的舞台為設計概念，透過人物減影的活動表演故事。
Southern Taiwan is the birthplace of shadow puppetry.
The whole room is a stage,
where the folklore is shown through the activities of the shadows of cutout figures.
TAKAO
打狗為高雄的古名，原意思為刺竹。
竹編 頂蓋、紅磚牆加上古時的紅眠床，帶您 穿越時空，體會早期農業社會的生活情景。
“TAKAO” is the old name of Kaohsiung, which means thorny bamboo.
Bamboo-made canopy and classic Chinese red bed represent the image of ancient agriculture times.
Growth
ring
樹木的年輪象徵著時間一年一年的前進，
迴繞的年輪與大地的面容在空間中重疊，見識歲月的存在。
Growth Ring symbolizes the proceeding of time;
piled contours silhouette the whole Kaohsiung City,
indicating it progresses as time goes by.
moon
world
以田寮月世界為設計概念，
自然岩石牆面反映出大自然的鬼斧神工，
呼應田寮月世界的特殊地形。
The rocky wall features the craftsmanship of nature, reminding you of the special landscape of “Moon World” in Tianliao.
tree house
樹的姿態，表現不屈不撓，
迎風挺立的力道，象徵樹屋旅店的精神。
木質裝潢簡單大方，回歸自然與樸實。
Expanding wall like a sturdy tree;
wooden decorations create an atmosphere of simplicity andelegance,
making you more intimate with nature.
dome
of light
以美麗島捷運站為設計概念，描述造物者的光輝來自穹頂，
透露出祥和與光輝，訴說著城市角落的故事。
Inspired by MRT Formosa Boulevard Station;
Creator's halo comes from the dome,
depicting diverse stories of the city.
Industry
高雄原為工業重鎮，
房內以方型鋼管、鐵板、鉚釘為元素設計工業化的意象，
見證台灣的經濟的起飛。
Steel pipes, iron plates and rivets are combined to establish a cold and tough industrialized image,
presenting a huge progress of the industrialized city.

高雄獨特的棋盤式街道，點與點間的緊密連結，
城市的網絡井然有序，任您恣意穿梭於大街小巷。
Checkerboard-like streets and blocks make each spot closely connected to each other;
easy for you to explore the city.
nest
倦鳥可望歸巢，遊子如同倦鳥，
木的堆疊如飄浮於空中的巢，是駐足休憩的中繼站。
Logs are piled up to form a nest in the roof,
served as a sweet home and an exclusive haven for those who are tired out.

城市因水而偉大，
房內充滿著白色的純淨，紗簾的柔和加上精心的光雕設計，
觸動了人們的愛情。
The room is surrounded by the soft long strip of ground light;
the white shade emphasizes the purity of love.
